Adjustments are precise corrections of vertebrae (spinal bones) along the spine. The objective of the adjustment is to realign vertebrae that have moved out of their normal position and are causing pain and dysfunction.  Spinal misalignments or subluxations are commonly caused by; repetitive stresses, injuries, falls, poor posture, emotional stress, accidents and even the birth process.

The specific adjustments are performed by the chiropractic doctor by hand or with an adjusting instrument to gently correct  spinal dysfunction. Overall, spinal adjustments are a proven and effective way to relieve pain and symptoms and to correct underlying dysfunction and damage in the spine
